About Your Wellness Guides
Hi There!
Adam and Cristin here. Your personal guides on your journey to Be Well!
We met in the summer of 2017 and quickly learned we share a love of life and adventure. We love camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking, SUPing, etc. If it’s in the great outdoors we are down for it. Our love of travel and adventure requires overall wellness. We value these adventures together and know that to continue to enjoy them we need to have long-term wellness: physically and financially. We want to be able to still comfortably enjoy a tough hike or carry our kayak when we are older, without fear of physical or financial struggles. So we decided to not only take control over our own wellness, but also fell in love with the process so much we decided to help others as well. We want you to learn you have the ability to create the life you want and that you can and will achieve your goals. You may not have the same goals as us, but we would love to hear about your “why” and help you create healthy habits to live the life you love!

I am a wife, dog mom, daughter, sister, Christian, friend, educator, behavior analyst, Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified Nutrition Coach, ACT enthusiast, former college athlete, life-long struggler with health/weight, and current reclaimer of overall health and wellness. Although these words describe me, they do not define me. I am me. I am learning, growing, and redefining who I am and who I can be.
I am dedicated to share my journey to help you on yours!
I was very unhealthy for a very long time. I will list some of my diagnoses to scratch the surface: Hashimoto's, PCOS, hormonal imbalance, IBS, anxiety, and depression. Those are in no particular order, but they have all affected me at some point to varying degrees. After years of feeling miserable, I can finally say I am the healthiest and happiest I have ever been, and I am not done yet. I am truly living the journey to Be Well!
For me "being well" doesn't just mean losing weight. I had been a chronic yo-you dieter practically my entire life and I always ended up in the same place: unhappy and unwell. I have finally learned and lived out the most effective way to Be Well is to tackle ALL aspects of my health: physical, emotional, mental, spiritual. I am still on my journey and I cannot wait to help you on yours!
I utilize the science of ABA to create long-lasting, sustainable health and wellness behaviors
I am a husband, dog dad, son, brother, Christian, friend, educator, student, former college athlete, previous debt holder and credit user and currently taking hold of my personal and financial wellness. I am already all of these things and currently learning and growing to be the most and best I can be in all those areas.
I was good at making money and even better at spending it! My goal was to make sure my bills were paid and I thought if I could get financing and make the payment, it meant I could afford something. I was comfortable in jobs that limited my potential because they were what I knew. Previously financial security meant I could just work a few extra side jobs to make more money and everything else just worked out. After years of teaching and then working 20+ hours a week at times just to make payments, I can now comfortably say I finally feel secure. We no longer have car or credit card payments and have a solid plan for future, we truly are on a path to financial security.
For me financial wellness doesn’t just mean making a budget and sticking to it. It is setting financial goals and not only meeting them but maintaining them. Financial wellness is when money doesn’t cause you stress, but gives you comfort with money now and provides confidence in your financial future. I am still learning and refining my financial goals and can’t wait to help you with yours.
